Disabled and Elderly Dog's
We know that your pooch's are your babies, and it can be especially hard to leave them when they are elders or have a disability. However, rest assured that they are in loving hand's, and that we take extra precautions and provide that extra bit of care that your pooch's need. Please note we do not charge a higher price for older or disabled dog's; we believe in equality for all including for your pet's. And age, impairment and disability are not discriminated against.
When booking in your elderly or disabled pooch all we ask for are a few details and some understanding. We ask that you provide all known details health wise for your pet, this is to ensure that we can create only the very best environment for your pet.
Elderly and disabled dogs need more time that other pets, this is because during the groom they may need to lie down for the duration of the groom and may need more frequent breaks to ensure their comfort.
Please understand we cannot rush the grooming process for your Pets, this can put stress on their already fragile bodies and emotional wellbeing and is not something we Ederer to, no matter the owner's preference.
Although we put our very best into the outcome of your pet's groom, we cannot guarantee they will 'look' physically appeasing, this is because as an example, we will not force and elderly dog with severe arthritis to stand up for more than he or she is comfortable with to achieve the best look possible. We strictly only groom your pet to the standards they will allow; we hope you understand but our priority is your pet and nothing else.
If your pet does suffer with any heart complications or neurological disorders, it is standard that you will need to read and agree to our terms and conditions before you book your pet in.
